World Organization of the Scout Movement – Uniting 40 million Scouts in a global social network

World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) var et af de projekter, jeg brugte mest tid på i min tid i Wemind.

The overall purpose of Scouting is to create a better world. Millions of Scouts are involved in inspiring projects across the globe, every day.

Together with the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), we have conceptualized, designed and built a super social network that unites Scouts of all nations, cultures and religions. The result, scout.org, enables 40 million Scouts to connect in real-time. It’s our little contribution to world peace.

This is the first time that an NGO has undertaken a social network of these dimensions and it has been praised for helping shape ‘the NGO of the future’.

“What Wemind has done is truly magnificent. It has changed the face of Scouting.” Director John Geoghegan, World Scout Foundation
